LaSalle Bank & Centennial Wireless Save Ice Skating at Rosa Parks Circle

When Midwest cellular provider Centennial Wireless began its expansion into the West Michigan market, they needed to reinforce the message that they were a more “locally focused” provider than their competitors. Additionally, LE&A client LaSalle Bank, after recently undergoing a name change from Standard Federal Bank, needed to reinforce the message they weren’t just a Chicago-bank, but a strong “local community partner” as well.

LE&A brought these two clients together to save skating at downtown’s high-profile ice rink after well-publicized city budget cuts forced its closure. LE&A negotiated all terms of the sponsorship on behalf of our clients and arranged two media events with elected officials and other leaders to announce and then kick off skating for the community. Both events were very well-attended and both companies received significant recognition regarding their support. Moreover, LaSalle and Centennial won additional new business as a result of their community contributions.
