Grand Rapids Art Museum

As a result of its experience working with a number of Grand Rapids community organizations, LE&A was hired for the local and regional opening of the new $75 million Grand Rapids Art Museum (GRAM), to serve as the organization’s entire marketing department.
LE&A coordinated and guided, “hardhat” media tours of the facility as it faced completion, as well as interviews with top-tier targets leading up to and during the opening events, including the Associated Press, Detroit Free Press, Grand Rapids Press, Grand Rapids Magazine, On-the-Town, Grand Rapids Business Journal, Lake Magazine, Shore Magazine and WOOD Radio.
We also create a special, opening day media blitz with all four television affiliates, radio and print publications. Additionally, LE&A directed all media for the donor gala, the social event of the year. We worked closely with the GRAM Development department who provided acces to members of the GRAM Board of Trustees as well as Capital Campaign directors to serve as spokespeople for the opening day ribbon-cutting ceremony.
LE&A also project managed all of GRAM’s advertising and marketing materials for the opening, including its brand new wayfinding guide.
