Lambert, Edwards & Associates Appoints Directors to Consumer Practice

Grand Rapids, MI, Feb. 11, 2008 – Nationally recognized public relations firm Lambert, Edwards & Associates (LE&A) today announced the appointment of Jeremy Bakken and Joe DiBenedetto as directors within the agency’s Consumer practice.
As directors, Bakken and DiBenedetto will work to provide exceptional service to the firm’s growing roster of consumer products and retail clients, which includes industry leaders like Mattress Firm, Old Orchard, Zondervan and Two Men and A Truck, as well as growing regional companies like Biggby Coffee (formerly Beaner’s). The two will also assist the firm with new business development efforts.
A member of the LE&A staff since 2005, Bakken offers clients a wealth of experience in strategic communications planning, media relations and community relations. Bakken joined LE&A after five years at Straightline Public Relations. A graduate of Grand Valley State University, he currently volunteers as a member of the board for Celebration on the Grand as the public relations chairman.
A life-long resident of New York, DiBenedetto recently moved to West Michigan to join LE&A. With more than a decade of public relations experience, DiBenedetto has worked with a diverse group of clients, ranging from public school districts to professional audio/video equipment manufacturers. A graduate of Hofstra University, he most recently served as account manager for D. Pagan Communications, a leading public relations firm on Long Island, where he was responsible for overseeing strategic communications planning and client communications.
